Team Member Spotlight: Sue
Sue is one of our amazing dental assistants, so if your child is a little nervous about visiting the dentist, she is the teammate they’ll want by their side! With her upbeat personality, gentle approach, and contagious enthusiasm, she has a special talent for turning butterflies into smiles. Sue loves making every child feel safe, comfortable, and even excited about taking care of their teeth.
One of her favorite success stories started with a child who was terrified of having their teeth cleaned. Instead of rushing in, Sue handed them the toothbrush, let them explore it, and even showed them how it worked by brushing Mom’s teeth first! Before long, the little patient was relaxed, smiling, and happily finished their cleaning. It’s a trick she’s used to help many children build confidence ever since
Team Member Spotlight: Brianna
What makes Brianna such a wonderful dental assistant is her natural ability to make kids feel right at home—something that comes from being a mom herself. Her cheerful smile and calming personality help children (and parents!) feel right at home from the moment they walk through the door. She believes every visit should be filled with encouragement, confidence, and maybe even a few giggles.
One patient was especially nervous about all the dental instruments. So, Brianna turned the appointment into a mini “show and tell,” letting the child see, touch, and learn about each tool before using it. By the end of the visit, those scary instruments weren’t scary anymore—and at the next appointment, the patient couldn’t wait to hop into the dental chair!
